I have slowely got into rock music more and more. i may still be classed as a new member of the rock society, but i know when i hear something good, and Hybird theory by Linkin Park is far more than that!! While there is no doubt that this is one of the best debut albums ever written, recorded and slapped onto CD, with the exception of maybe the Foo Fighters, it just leaves you wanting more of the anarchy which this album has brought to the world. The nu-metal craze, was thankfully short lived, the obsession with poor musicianship and mixing rap with metal was not the best idea that anyone ever had. Linkin park were one of the many bands to jump on the aforementioned bandwagon, mixing their "unique" blend of metal, hip hop and what can only really be described as dance. The vocals are cringeworthy, a whining post teenager pushing out lyrics of self harm and how its such a terrible world. ...
