Pink - I'm not Dead This is Pinks fourth album released in 2006 and she really doesn't disappoint you! It costs £5.97 on Amazon. ...of Jean Paul Guetierre although I'm not sure why? The insert contains all the lyrics which I always like as it saves me having to search on the internet for the odd word I can never pick up from the song. Tracks 1. ...one was not oversuccessful (hence I'm not Dead, and about eating disorders??) but it showed many of the encouraging features of the first. God, what a disappointment. The whole CD is riddled with influences almost to the point of copying and the band that was so good and soulful on the first has been replaced with a Fall Out Boy line-up who all hammer away gormlessly at their geek punk instruments. Pink returns to the music scene with new album 'I'm Not Dead', and i must say, it is pretty good!!! The opening track is the first single, 'Stupid Girls'. It has an infectious guitar riff running through it, some great lyrics and equally good vocals. Also, if you have not seen the video for 'Stupid Girls', make sure you do because it is hilarious. Firstly, I have to say that I am a big fan of Pink; I have all her other albums and have admired her changing style from R&B debut "Can't Take Me Home" through to her rockier last effort "Try This". This new album is similar in style to "Try This", with a mix of pop, rock, and the softer, slower ballads but, dare I say it, seems to lack a bit of substance. ...to say about this track, i'm not a big fan of it. Cuz I Can - This is a fun song, and that comes across well in Pinks voice but once again, not one of my faves. Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely) - I really like this song. It's all about how we wanna be with someone, but then we want them to go away so that we can be alone. A typical relationship. If you like pink you will take to this cd quite well! It has great lyrics although some of the songs are very average there are some brilliant songs here and also some that is normal. Although I must admit I like them all! It has thirteen songs plus a couple of bonus tracks too, the songs on this cd are • Stupid Girls ( well I think most of us no this song! Pink - Im Not Dead Pink\'s albums just getter better each time, this album really celebrates her rustic sexy rock voice and its a good album when your dealing with emotions, so you can sing along and feel good. I can relate to some of the songs and the rest are good. ...THEN out of nowhere came I'm not dead. What an amazing album it is. Stupid Girls is a great song on today's society, then she released Who Knew, about a friend she lost to drugs. songs such as Leave me Alone, U + Ur Hand, Cuz i Can make me get up and sing. I love this album to bits. She then tones it down and does some slow songs, but she keeps the lyrics on full for Dear Mr President. She sings from the Heart and the songs on this album are incredible. ... Read review
