The money making juggernaut that is Westlife looks like it will never stop with the tide of it's large fan base of miss guided 8 years old (just an example) pushing it along. It is trying to tackle everything and this is making them boring because if they ever bring out a single you may as well not broadcast the chart because you know who is at number 1. First of all let me tell everyone that I DON'T LIKE THIS BAND!!! So I can warn you now that this option is not going to be full of love for this band so if you feel your judgement will be impaired to make a reasonable comment on this option then stop reading now!! If one uses the measure of chart success only Westlife are now one of the most successful bands ever in the history of British pop music. That fact probably makes everyone who hears it wish to scream. Undoubtedly Westlife fans will scream because they appear to do so at every mention of their name. Westlife, Well what can i say. I'm a huge fan but i have noticed that people normal either love them or hate them(through jealousy probably). But their is no doubt - westlife are certainly one of the biggest pop bands around today. They have got record of the year, christmas number 1 and they have the title of being the only band ever to have got their first ever 5 singles to go straight into the number 1 spot! Boy bands? What has happened to their quality? I remember a few years ago, Take That were on the scene, as much as I hate to admit it, I think they were pretty good. I know that the Irish boyband Westlife have many fans, and I know that they have made them number 1 8 times (I think it's 8 times). So obviously many people like them including a few of my friends. I listened to Westlife when they first came on the scene, purely to see what kind of band Ronan Keating was managing. They seemed OK-ish, but not my cup of tea, really. (I love Backstreet Boys, as you may have noticed if you have read my opinions)! As time has gone on, they increasingly annoy me. Westlife are a manufactured pop group. They have no talent and cannot sing and only because they had Ronan Keating did people start buying their single. Then because of immature little people, they go and buy their singles and make them number 1 seven times in a row, an accolade which is totally undeserved.
