In terms of commercial success this is not one of Bryan Adam's better albums. The follow-up to the Reckless album was always going to be virtually impossible. However, in terms of memorable songs I think this is an excellent album and contains some even better songs than on Reckless. Probably not as catchy on the first listen but songs such as "Native Son", "Rebel", and "Remembrance Day" just grow on you the more you listen. The rest of the album ...

Advantages: Some well written songs Disadvantages: Not as good as the others.
'Into the fire' is a CD containing 10 songs. The songs are well written and have good meaning but still this CD is my least favourite of the whole Bryan Adams collection.
Most of the songs are mellow, slow and thoughtprovoking but poor in the style that Bryan Adams is associated with.
I'm not sure why this CD consisted of these type of tracks, only than to speculate on a certain amount of disillutionment or new direction tried.
