Advantages: The King,, Slash, Great album Disadvantages: None
...The Dancefloor after 1995's History. Invincible was released by Epic Records and features production from Babyface, R Kelly, Rodney Jerkins, Teddy Riley and the unknown "Dr Freeze". It was released on 30th October 2001 to mixed reviews from critics and fans alike. **The Album** 1.) Unbreakable This starts off the album in a superb way with a full on stomper of a track which features a stupendous beat which is accompanied by the many hooks. It also ... ...this way. 3.) Invincible This is a great title track which starts off with some warm sounding hooks and a funky beat. This has a slower pace than the previous tracks but still has a heavier feel than the majority of the album. This is a very impressive track which moves along well and Jackson's vocals are strong and add a great touch to the overall feel of the track. 4.) Break of Dawn This kicks off the ballads on the album with a very impressive ...

...second I found out that Invincible was being released, I rushed to my nearest HMV and pre-booked a copy so that the day it came out I would have my copy ready and waiting (I did warn you!). I have a lot of experience as someone who loves the King, as I have albums starting from Music & Me 1973, up to HIStory and Blood on the dancefloor, plus all his videos and a live performance at Wembley Stadium in July 1997 on his HIStory tour (once again, I did ... ...I liked. 8/10
3) Invincible – The track the album is named after. Quite unusual to have this track as number 3 as usually the title track is the track that is number 1 and leads you into the album. This one lasts for 4.45 minutes so they get shorter! Once again there is a rap performed by Fats and it is rather catchy. It is about a girl who is ‘Invincible’. Unfortunately and it pains me to say this but this is similar to the first ...

Advantages: Lots of big tunes Disadvantages: A few hold it back
In 2001 came the final album of brand new material from the late great ‘King Of Pop’ Michael Jackson as he released “Invincible”. It gets the artist continuing once more to progress with the time (after a couple of albums filled with Hip Hop-inspired tunes) this one has him trying out the popular R&B style of this time. It was a big return for the artist (and were turn out to be his last). 1. “Unbreakable” Getting the album going here, you have a ... ...the album prior to this in 1995). You find that in this cut you find that immeditaly you are drawn in by a clearly modernised approach from the artist who goes at it hard and shows that he knows what to do with this ‘00s R&B. **Five Stars** 2. “Heartbreaker” It is highly evident through the production here that he knows exactly what is on-trend at this point for R&B as he jumps on the type of beats which Kandi Burress, Dark Child and Timbaland were ...

Advantages: More up to date than his previous work. Disadvantages: Inconsistent
Ok so this album was panned by critics worldwide, why? because it's MJ of course, unless he's releasing songs the quality of "Billie Jean" or "Beat It" people don't want to know. I want to write a review based on THIS album, not previous ones as other critics do. Track 1- Unbreakable
Not the best song on the album by far. MJ tries to attract the younger crowd by adding a rap interlude wtih The Notorious BIG but fails due to the repetative beat on ... ...is ok but the constant repetative beat in the background means this song is anything but unbreakable. 6/10
Track 2 - Heartbreaker
Better. This is a more mordern sounding beat which anyone who know's there music will instantly link with Rodney "Darkchild" jerkins. Fantastic ending to the song and MJ's vocal's sound fresher than ever. Again not the best on this album but better than unbreakable. 7/10
Track 3 - Invincible
Another up tempo track ...

...about that one. Invincible contains some really innovative, totally modern tracks with superb production. “Unbreakable” has an incredibly catchy beat, great melody and a rap by the late Notorious B.I.G. “Heartbreaker” is very fast, futuristic, has a great chorus and will definitely surprise you when you hear it. “2000 Watts” is probably the least “Michael Jackson” song you will ever hear. Yes, dear reader, his voice has finally broken. You know, ... ...head bopping and your toes tapping without you knowing?? You will find that happening for all of the last three tracks. Another modern RnB track is the first single “You Rock My World” which has production like Toni Braxton’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me” and a great catchy chorus. The downside to the Michael’s latest affair with RnB is the title track “Invincible”. If the song were under three minutes long instead of almost five, it would be so ...

Advantages: Mindblowing ballads Disadvantages: Boring repetitive pop tracks
Ordering Invincible from Amazon.co.uk on Sunday, I got it Tuesday morning, a mere £5.85 thanks to a free voucher. £5.85 for 16 songs. (Not 16 tracks, new albums tend to show 16-18 tracks, some are like 5 seconds long). £5.85 for 77 minutes of quality music.
Track by track guide:
1. UNBREAKABLE (6 MINS 25) 4/10
Hardly the best way to start an album. A quirky repetitive jazz-pop piano riff, very mediocre indeed. A very "typical" pop track, and I ... ...this fine.
3. INVINCIBLE (4.45) 4/10
Does not really live up to its name. YET AGAIN theres a quirky, annoying background track and the lyrics and singing is far from perfect too. Jacko is straining to reach some of the notes and this too is very mediocre.
4. BREAK OF DAWN (5.32) 10/10
A nice powerful introduction, just pure magic. Acoustic guitar melodies, and the sound of birds in the background. Through the song a nice soothing background tracking ...

Advantages: Okay not breakthroughs though Disadvantages: Some not so good tracks
After ten years Michael Jackson has blessed us (if you like his music that is) with another album. This is in celebration of his thirty years in the singing business. From the Jackson five (remember little Michael?) up to now I have liked his music, not an ardent fan admittedly, but nevertheless I still enjoy it.
I recall like yesterday the little brown boy singing lead in the family groups of five. But somewhere over the years, the little brown ... ...bonny little face into something monstrous! But that’s another story!
This album comes as I said to celebrate his 30th anniversary in show business, and it is another fine offering.
Track 1: Unbreakable. The introduction to this is hypnotising and a little long. A beaty little number: with lyrics to match (6.25).
Track 2: Heartbreaker. Typically Jackson: singing about a girl who’s a heartbreaker. The music is lyrically catching but ...

Advantages: Lots of dance tracks Disadvantages: Mediocre singing and it's not really a pop album
This album was released in 2001 and I've decided to review it now as it's taken a long time to grow on me. I bought this album on vinyl for £13 in Virgin and I got the CD for only £2 in Music Zone. It wasn't available on cassette, somewhat disappointingly but there were 5 different coloured CD covers available. If Michael Jackson had repeated his older work entirely he'd get accused of being stuck in a time warp, and if he'd done a wildly different ... ...sake of gaining a different, lesser audience. The weakest tracks on "Invincible" are "Heaven Can Wait" and "Lost Children," but even those aren't that bad. The title track, "Invincible," doesn't refer to himself, but the lady he loves, and although it's catchy, it's a strange choice of title track. Perhaps "Privacy" would have been more of a personal message. "Privacy" isn't a very good song either and the more malicious amongst you will probably ...

Quick review of Invincible - Michael Jackson
Tonight's story is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of
introduction
If I saw you in heaven
Would it be the same
If I saw you in heaven
I must be strong
And carry on
Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven
As time goes by you'll come to see
That you don't need no one but me
Give you everything you need
Even get down on my knees
Just as long as you believe
Be with me and you'll succeed
Tunnel
Is just the freight train coming your way......
It's coming your way
It's coming your way......
Here comes
Yeah, Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of
Your Tunnel ...

Advantages: Some of Michael jackson's best songs Disadvantages: too long, and too many tracks that could have been left off
Butterflies, whatever happens, speechless, you rock my world, unbreakable, break of dawn and heartbreaker are great songs with fantastic beats and give you a taster of the vocal abilities of jackson.
But there are other songs that are suited to different audiences. for example 2000 watts...you either love it or you hate it. It is a song showing mj with a very strong and rough voice but The song is too loud and fast and can get annoying. The lost ... ...of mj who like his ballads such as heal the world, but hated by people who....well hate ballads like heal the world.
There's not too much point going into each of his songs and saying which one is good and which isn't because this album has a few songs that are loved as much as they are hated. It depends a lot on personal tastes.
But On the whole I definitely recomend this for all the music fans around the world. ...

...the more R&B feel is probably a wise move, to adapt to the changing tastes of the younger, fired up generation. In conclusion, Invincible certainly isn't anything to hype up but if you're an avid Michael Jackson fan, then it's worth buying. Personally I regret paying 16 quid for it. ...

I was so happy when my friend bought me this cd for my birthday. I listened to it all of the way through. I liked all of the songs on it, except "2000 Watts". That song barely has him in it. I wanted to hear him, not Tyrese. And on top of that, the lyrics are pretty stupid. All of the other songs seem great. I like the fact that when you are listening to it, you never feel like it sounds like the song before it. Also, people say that Michael is old ...
