Advantages: Catchy, upbeat and entertaining
Disadvantages: Not quite the greatest album ever made, a little repetitive in some places

Rarely does an album catch my attention enough to make me write about it. The last one to inspire a review was Lily Allen’s “Alright Still”, with its evocative mix of styles and innovative lyrics and her beautiful, lilting voice. Mika’s “Life In Cartoon Motion” album, however, captured my imagination enough this morning to make me forget all about vacuuming the pub before opening and instead sat at the bar tapping my foot along to its upbeat, entertaining ... Disadvantages: Not enough tracks and bad flow

Mika burst into the charts earlier this year with the amazing track "Grace Kelly" his style seems unique yet as you listen to his album you can pick up influences of many different bands. When I first heard "Grace Kelly" I thought it was the band Orson, until I made a point of finding the single. Life in a Cartoon Motion ( Universal) This camp and sound alike Freddie mercury has exploded on to the music scene this year and has already shot to number one with single Grace Kelly, which catapulted him to number one and superstardom. He could be around for a long time to come Life in a Cartoon is Mika's (pronounced Meeka) is his debut album. The 23 year old born in Lebanon could go along way. Mika must be one of the most unqiue talents to explode onto the music scene in recent times. Sounding almost like a young Freddie Mercury, crossed with Robbie Williams his debut album, hot on the heels of the single Grace Kelly, would be interesting. i love this album and i think he is such an original artist. I havent quite heard music like this in a very long time. It is for all age groups and is highly recommended from me! Advantages: 'Relax, Take It Easy', 'Happy Ending'
Disadvantages: Not so good tracks 'Stuck In The Middle' and 'Ring Ring'

Its been a hard 2 or 3 years in the music business for Pop music. Indie bands took over the country as Pop bands and singers faded out or split. Pop fans lived off the Pop tracks of McFly or stuck to myspace where they discovered up and coming singers of the time such as Lily Allen. His artistic name is Mika, maybe whoever didn't listen him on the radio yet, could think that the artist is a girl because of the name, but the point is that he is a male singer-songwriter. I think most of this album is really good, There are only about 2 or 3 songs i would have to skip. My favourite tracks on the album would have to be Grace Kelly, Lolipop and Big Girl (you are beatutiful). I would say these three are my favourite beacuse they are upbeat and entertaining.
