...advantage of the tracks being live ,is that there's always something different about the songs compared to the original track. For instance, during solos, flea and john will improvise and it sounds incredible! This album is good, as it allows people like me, who couldn't get tickets to the shows, to hear what everyone heard when they were there. It makes me feel like i am actually there. ...added bonus is that it's live at one of their biggest gigs in the UK for a while!!! The band on tour are explosive. Lots of their new songs such as Zephyr and Can't Stop seem to blind people to their previous masterworks. But this is an awesome collection of some of the best ever. ...happiness I heard that their Live In Hyde Park album came out. I bought it and started to listen to it. It had all my favourites and many more! It ALL sounded outstandingly good! Advantages: packed full of there best songs with some new ones brand new ones
Disadvantages: inro drags for a bit, sometimes you cannot hear the bass very well

i got this 2 disk album months ago and i still listen to it regularly. it is packed fulll of their greatest songs from the past, and includeds some brand new songs (newer than that even). you only find yourself skipping about 1 song on each disk. the improvisation by the band is fantastic. frusciante's solos are the kind of solos and guitar playing that make you want to learn guitar. it is all driven by some awsome drum beats by chad and fleas fantastic ... Advantages: Unlike so many 'live' albums the sound quality is absolutely brilliant, with the raw power that the Chillis are famed for driving through.
Disadvantages: Believe me I tried really hard to find something to complain about on this album but I'm glad to say I failed dismally.

...most of their classic albums, Live in Hyde Park effortlessly hits the spot without too much hard work on the listeners part, showing off just how good the Chilli’s really are. For me the level of their musicianship sent tingles down my spine. ...the Red Hot Chili Peppers live in Hyde Park, London in June 2004. It was supported by Chicks on Speed and James Brown, while they were on it rained!! ...put of a band by live performances and tracks but on this album the real emotion comes through. Mega! (i would have given all of my limbs to have been there!) seroisly brillent! Ok so what type of people will like this?.... Anyone with taste in music and love for great songs.
