...AVAILABILITY AND PRICING Lost Horizons is available to buy at most music retailers - HMV, Virgin etc. Of course you can also buy it online. Amazon have it currently priced at £8:97 which is a great price but doesn't include p&p. In HMV and music shops, the price is around £12:99 although recently, in an HMV sale where I live I saw it at £9:99. Lost Horizons is an amazing collection of EPs put together to create this superb album by the the genious group that is Lemon Jelly. It's their second album after KY and released way back 2002. It's a mix of instrumental sounds and samples designed to give you a relaxed and mellow easy listening experience. It has an organic feel, along with the album cover and delivers some outstanding and experimental music that will lift you into new horizons. ...
...Walk 3 - Ramblin' Man 4 - Return to Patagonia 5 - Nice Weather for Ducks 6 - Experiment No. 6 7 - Closer 8 - The Curse of Ka'Zar Bonus track - Pushy Elements opens the album and really gives you a good feel of what the album is going to be like. This is the second album from Lemon Jelly and is quite honstly outstanding. The cover is very appropriate for the album and anyone interpreting it might say that it covers a lot of different scenarios as the music does with styles. It begins with the intriguing if a bit obsecure track 'Elements' which seems to explore lots of different styles while also keeping the overall shape basic enough to be really appreciated, then without appearing to moves ...
...repetitive but is still worth having on the album. Next comes one of my favourite tracks here; "Ramblin' Man".This is a great track which combines a solid basic drum beat with synths and voice for the beginning then breaks out with a flute to bring an ultimate chill-out phase to the track without making you feel as if you want to fall asleep.
