Advantages: This album is quite something for the rap lovers.

He knows exactly what he is saying in his songs and although he has a somewhat crude way of singing his songs, he means a lot and his lyrics all mean something. My fault a song by the artist eminem this I think is a good no excellent song it’s about Susan taking drugs (mushrooms). “I never meant to give you mushrooms girl, I never meant to bring you to my world, but now your sittin’ in the corner cryin’, and now it’s my fault my fault”. How anybody could purchase this album is really beyond me! No offence to Eminem, but the music is shite, the lyrics are very undesirable and altogether he is probably the most irritating person I know of! I believe that his mother is suing him for the line ‘my mum does more dope than I do’! Well to me that says it all about this thing. ...on his mind and the Marshall Mathers LP definitely doesn't disappoint. Seconds into track one the verbal abuse starts and we wouldn't have it any other way! In true Eminem style; all the songs are centred around himself, each bringing us graphic stories of what he feels about life in general, of course with every other word being abusive. The boy is a fool. Having bought this CD to see what all the fuss is about, I promptly returned it. Eminem - a middle american surburban spoilt kid - rhyming about how hard his life is, bad mouthing his mother and talking rubbish.In my opinion it takes more than explicit language, references to Dr Dre and a severe disrespect of women to make a good rap album - clearly Eminem does not share this opinion. This album is nothing special, although hype surronds it. This is mainly due to the fact that everyone under the sun has taken offence to the lyrics used in certain songs on the album and has decided to sue mr mathers. There is one outstanding track on the album called 'stan', this track alone is worth the cost of the album. ...of it. But now I own Marshall Mathers LP I am seriously considering buying Eminem's first album and looking further afield into other rappers' music. Most of the tracks on the album are top-notch, OK the excessive swearing and violent lyrics can be a bit much in some songs (Kim, for example) and the short "skits" scattered through the album are pointless in my opinion, but aside from that I can't really find much more to moan about. I dont like listening to eminems music because i think he is a bit boring. All he ever seems to rap about is homosexuals and sex, maybe there is a conection with the two in his life..... He is also white and white people cant rap, i think that rapping should be left to the black community and that eminem should join a boy band. I always seem to assosiate this singer well Eminem to Columbine shooting in America last year. I remember reading Newsweek and thinking how horrible this is, that these too jerks shooted so many people, so young kids...and of course radio started to play this eminem's song where he sings about putting nails in his eyes. I think the Marshall Mathers LP is a greay album. Eminem's great sense of humour and fun lyrics get shown in this great all-round alibum which such songs as The Real Slim Shady which reached No.1 in the UK charts and is still in the charts quite a few weeks after its release. Eminem who previously had claims of being sued by his own mother for offending lyrics also had a rivalry with Christina Aguilera after offending her in his song along with Nsync ... Read review
