Marshall Mathers has produced a high quality album. It contains all forms of track, some with a heavy beat and some with slower beats. He has compiled with other acts such as Dida, a great track called Stan which is well worth a listen. It also joins with Dr.Dre who put more effort into producing the album rather than rapping in it. The tracks certainly contain explicit lyrics but they come with the artist, so is not recommended for younger listeners ... Read review

...the new Eminem album The marshall mathers LP a few weeks ago and just can not stop listening to it, its brilliant and espeically with all the swearing init people might think badly about it but i dont i think its gteat how he swears in his songs. Eminem simply redefines the definition of WHITE HOT!!! This album, which gives listeners an audio rematch with the current white hurricane of the lyrical game, shows how Eminem digs deeper into the caverns of his mind to exorcise his demons. Don't expect an album full of club bangers such as "The Real Slim Shady" throughout the album. First, I must say that if you like N'Sync, prepare to be offended! Eminem really hates those poor boy bands, and if you heard the single "The Real Slim Shady", you'll know he doesn't have much time for Christina Aguilera! Well, to the album. ...year, make it this one. Marshall Mathers is a finely composed set of songs, which is contradictory to the image that Eminem have made for themselves. He is seen as a guy that does nothing but swear and make rude signs. However, some of the songs on this album have deep meaning, and have poise which havent even been attempted by other artists. i bought this album as a listener of slims music, but until buying this album i wasn't a very big slim fan, but now i think that slim is the best rapper out there, despite him bein dissed for bein a white rapper. I am constantly listening to the alum and can't get the tunes out of my head, ive only had the album just over a week and i think i know most words to most songs, thats how catchy it is. Rap music has been round for almost as long as I have, perhaps that might be a slightly inaccurate, but hey you know what I mean. Sometimes rap seems to be very unoriginal and looks to be running out of ideas. Then you get an album like this. Is this Marshell Mathers, Slim Shady or Eminem we listen to when we pump this? I don't know, but what I do know is, this is a work of art, its a masterpeice. This album is the best I've heard in a long time. The music is very much like other Eminem songs,but the lyrics are very meaningful. You can tell that he didn't have the happiest childhood, but he has tried really hard to make something of himself. He may not have the best reputation in the world, but I love him to bits.
