"The Massacre" is 50 Cents second album, available to his fans from the 3rd of March. The album has its fair share of controversy and hype. Dont get me all wrong i like 50Cent, but on this second album under the shady aftermath label 50 has turned to Hiphop rather than staying to the rap side of things, 50 still chats of Beefs which is how he got to be where he is today, the only rapper i know to have the most Beefs but really come on 50 we all hated what happened to tupac and biggie why you trying to reanact it all with Ja Rule and more let it rest. Disadvantages: not as good as first album

i really like 50 cents recent album i think it dives into his soul and takes you to the childhood he and his expeirience of growing up without a mother or father. i think in most of his songs you can hear his passion and gratefulness for everything he has come to be, i however do not think this album is as good as his first 'get rich or die tryin'. Advantages: Many songs on this album have been realeased therefore will be recognised and enjoyable
Disadvantages: Stero-typical gangsta music him chatting about how gangsta he is sometimes gets a bit too much

I got this album almost straight away from when it was realeased. The hit song "Candy Shop" had just been released which i think increased sales as it was extremly popular. Buying this album you get what you ask for upbeat, jumpy good songs that are enjoyable he does duets with other members of G-Unit such as Olivia in "Candy Shop" and "So Amazing" (a un-relesed track) and there's "hate it or love it" another popular track featuring the now extreamly ... This album was a complete let down after get rich or die trying this album has completly failed to reach fiddy aka 50cent aka curtis jacksons full potential after years of listening to his music mixtapes and then for him to come a drop this mixtape is just upsetting, when this album first hit the shelves evreyone was going to buy a copy but then the same day, many of us had returned for our money back i saw copies of his album being thrown around, ... Disadvantages: Not all the songs are good.

This album is good but it is not as good as "get rich or die tryin'. This album was released in March 2005. A couple of the singles that most people know are, "Candy Shop", which features Olivia. Candy shop was a good song. Another single was "Just a lil bit", "Outta control", and "Disco inferno". This album has 22 songs on it and out of the 22 songs there are only about 14 or 15 that is really good. This album was the tenth best album of the year ... Read review

Disadvantages: Not to everyone's tastes, very detailed descriptions of what is a horrifying past.

As the second album of 50 cent, this is a real personal hit, for all the fans that want to know the real him! Get rich or die tryin' was a hit and miss attempt at rap stardom, and for 50, it worked, but it was about his riches and status, whereas the massacre shows a more personal side to 50 cent, the side that everyone know's is there, and just wants to see. i used to listen to the whole genre of gangsta rap and hip hop. im not trying to putt any buyers off hear but 50 cent is repetitive he talkes about sexual things all the time and how strong me is.i used to like it but i just grew out of it. but dont get me wrong if u r acually in to 50 cent then you will love this album,but if you have never heard him before trust me you wont want to buy this album. some of the songs that feature on this album are ... Disadvantages: most songs are painful

This is a remixed version of my origional review... alot has changed. I would personally recommend that nobody buy this album or any other album of this type- the lyrics are typical of mainstream rap and promote violence , sex , drink, drugs - Kids are listening to this - these guys are role models and they are partly responsible for the uprise in gang culture, some might argue with me and say dont be so daft but ppl are INFLUENCED by the things ... Advantages: it isn't just rap this time hes back with a mixture of hip-hop and rap how good can ge get

Disadvantages: Not for people who dont like to hear violent swearing and offensive language

The tracks on this album are absoulutly great for people who like hip hop and rap this is definetly an album for you it has really good lyrics and beats its got his hit singles on it and i think there is only a few songs witch are crap but trust me if i was a true hip hop fan i would definetly recommend this album to you.
