Advantages: Quite a few good songs
Disadvantages: Some do start to sound a bit similar

I was really looking forward to this album coming out as i loved the previous one, Elephunk. It is, however completley, different, but not in a bad way. Monkey Buisness has much more focus on Fergie's voice/singing than in Elephunk. This may be one of the reasons that it does sound slightly different. After listening to so many songs... I still like this album very much... Really very nice songs to dance with especially "Pump It", "Don't Phunk With My Heart", "Don't Lie", "My Humps" and "Disco Club" are the few favourites of mine in this album. The beats really are able to move your body. Never fail to give me inspiration when I'm out of ideas trying to dance. Advantages: Good Tracks, Varied Styles of Music
Disadvantages: First Half of Album was great, second half not so great.

...not until their second album Monkey Business came out that I thought some of their music was pretty cool. I love the Dont Funk With My Heart, Pump It & Dont Lie tracks on the album, Pump It was the song that inspired me to purchase the album. It is a very varied album, with quite a few different styles of music, from quite dancy music, to the more soulful tunes, and until track six I was quite impressed with the album. Disadvantages: Not what I expected

Now, I really like the 'Peas, but I have to admit, this album didn't really grab me when I first listened to it. A couple of good ones jumped out, like Dum Diddly, Don't Phunk With My Heart, Pump It, but it can get a bit samey after a while. Having said that I've listened to it a couple of times now, and it is growing on me a little bit more, so I may have to eat my words! When I heard this I was impressed with the quality of the songs. Each I find are very individual and there is something there for whatever mood your in, if you are getting ready to go out or you are just relaxing in bed. I have found that it is something that you can use as back ground music while you are entertaining, and then it can be played in a club and a is a definate floor filler. I would like to say how much I have enjoyed this album. I have never been a big fan of Black eyed peas but this album has changed my mind. My kids think that it is great aswell and they are only four and seven. There is a great variety in their songs which I feel is very impotant on an album. Music has not been that interesting to me lately and I felt that songs were all the same nothing really took my interest. Black eyed peas was also a great price ... Read review
