Advantages: entertaining, good dance songs, nice ballads Disadvantages: if you don't know the film you might not enjoy it that much
After seeing the film, I just had to go and buy the soundtrack. I had it now for a few months and I still love to listen to it regularly.
The film begins with the song “POP! Goes my heart.” Which meant, I was in stitches already 5 Minutes into the film. So there is no surprise that the first song on the soundtrack is “POP! Goes my heart.” It’s so very 80 ties and each time I hear it, I see Hugh Grant with his 80 ties haircut singing it. Brilliant! ... ...is reason enough to purchase this CD. The song might not get a placing in the top 10 charts these days but it has a lot of comedy value and it sticks in your head. The second song is “Buddha’s Delight” which is sung by Haley Bennett. It’s a great song for dancing, quite sexy. It really gets those hips moving. - One of my favourites on the CD. The third song is “meaningless kiss”, which is sung by Hugh Grant. This is another song that is supposed ...

Music and Lyrcis; Not only a quality film but an even better soundtrack. Including songs created for the film performed by both Hugh Grant (who actually has a great singing voice!) and also Drew Barrymore who adds to the fun of the album. This album was created in order to demonstrate the songs from the hit film. The songs are upbeat, happy and just damn good fun. A classic example would be the song 'Pop! Goes my heart' if you've seen the film then ... ...to shake that pop hip. Just like most of other of Grant's films this is indeed a romantic comedy however more so comedy. This is emphasised in some of the lyrics expressed. Such as from 'Don't write me off just yet', 'Now I need you; despite the fact that you've killed all my plants.' The songs on this album are fun and also meaningful with great messages laid into the lyrics. With a great deal of romantic references shown in both 'Love Autopsy and ...

The movie music and lyrics is a new motion picture starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymoore. It is relativley new at the cinema but masses of people have already been to see it. Hugh Grant plays a washed keyboard/ Singer in a cheesy 80's pop band. Alex (Grant) is given a couple of days to write a song for teen sensation Cora. As he is doing so he is informed that his plant keeper is away so he has a different one for a few days. (Barrymoore) when ... ...keeper. So he lets her in and he and a client carry on with their writing but as they go on Alex realises Sophie is a much better writer as she sings the rest of the song without knowing it. The movie begins with the song Pop goes my heart which is my personal fave in the movie because it is so entertaining to watch and to listen to. then we meet the biggest teenage star in America and we are met with her singing 'Entering bootytown.' This song is ...
