I first heard Rammstein on Kerrang! TV and really enjoyed what I heard and saw. I thought at first they seemed a bit scary but once I got into it I really decided I loved it! I found a website that gives a list of the lyrics in German and English which I found really useful, however I didn't realise until I read it that it was so controversial. ...wait there isn't any This album is a must for anyone who likes a good bit of rock music. There are some 'soft'/not so good tracks, however the most of it is simply outstanding. Its essentially THE metal album. If you have the money, purchase it now! I am lucky enough to own this and a Chinese version with loads more tracks on it. Believe me there is no point at which i regret buying this CD. Its not morning music, or vicar music...so beware ...

Ok, ok, I know I've said I don't like Rammstein, and the mark down the bottom says good, but opinions can change can't they? Admittedly I listened with trepidation to Mein Herz Brennt, the first track on Mutter, and was pleased, very pleased. Oooh, ooh, they sound good! You know, like a cross between Metallica, Ministry and, and, something very GERMAN. Oooooh. I cannot understand a word of what Till Lindemann is singing, as I suspect a great majority ...

Mutter, if you're a big Rammstein fan, isn't going to be your fist choice for best album. That's not to demean the quality of the album - but in contrast to Herzeleid and Sehnsucht, it's very, very different.
