...of art, on first listening Narrow Stairs makes you stop and take notice. Thirty seconds in and I'm relieved to hear that Death Cab have not resorted to pop riffs or drum patterns to push their way into the chart, rather continuing to create the brilliant alternative music that we love them for. Just downloaded today and played it through a few times and i have to say i love this. Death cab still nail that melodic, haunting sound which has made them so popular yet the band seem to have evolved further since there last release plans. "Long division" kicks in with bounce bass rift which and very toptapping and catchy through the song which is quite high tempo compared to what we are used to hearing them play.
