Advantages: Just an incredible album
Disadvantages: take a few listens

I really really like this album, but i do feel it's album you need time for, you need to listen to it more than once to appreciate it fully. Again, it seems to be one of those albums which doesn't live up to the first (Funeral), on first listening, on second listening it comes out of it's shell and amazes. ...notable differences to their first. Neon Bible was released amongst a frenzy of publicity that starved Funeral (their first album) and undoubtedly delivered. 'Black Mirror' opens the album with real intent; simple drum beat alongside a simple rythmn guitar but its well the vocals kick in that the song starts to take shape, culminating in some french mixed with english lyrics towards the back end of the track. ...don't like is title track Neon Bible, which managed a paltry 3 stars on my iPod (which actually means I think its ok but don't want to listen to it regularly)! I am outside of the UK at the moment so could not see them live but I checked out their touring schedule anyway to see if they were playing the UK and they are (see their website for details) but they are all sold out, although I notice a pair of tickets are going for about 100gbp on eBay. Advantages: Brilliant lyrics, very different, sound is brilliant
Disadvantages: Not enough tracks

...tracks are Black mirror and Neon Bible but that doesnt mean there not very good. Buy this album as soon as you can if you want to hear something different. It has a bit of everything and there are many differnet instruments that you can hear. In Intervention there use church instruments to give the song a strong sound. ... Read review
