Advantages: Cheap price Disadvantages: Not much difference from previous release.
When originally released on vinyl the catalogue of errors in its production lead to it being absolutely awful. The sound was undefined and it was a very poor representation of how it should have been.
This was only remedied in the 1990s when it came to light there was a better recording of the live performance. This was remastered onto CD and at last there was at last a decent live ELO performance. Not only was the sound better but the tracks were ... ...This 2003 release is another go at remastering the 1990 CD version. I must admit that the difference is minimal on my cd player. I would not have been pleased to have shelled out for it again at full price. However this CD is very much "bargain bin" material and so for such a small price it is now something you can add to your collection without feeling cheated. ...
