Advantages: Slick 80's pop

..."No-no-notorious notorious" later sampled by Notorious BIG and Puff Daddy in 1999. The songs then eases into a slinky, faux-funk groove and is really one of the best tracks they've recorded. Typical Duran lyrics are abound with nods to "flakey bandits" and "boys making noise" and a great female "gasp" sample to add a little bit of tension to the tack. ...american science, skin trade and notorious emerged, hold me is awful, but winter marches on would have made a great chritmas song, if it had been released as the double a side that it was supposed to be, this is a good album but not a classic ... Read review

É completamente diferente dos trabalhos anteriores da banda. Muito distinto das produções de Nile Rodgers para "The reflex" e "The wild boys". Canções perfeitas no melhor álbum de 1986.
