This is the Now series. It's forty nine issues old and even has it's own personal web site www.now49.com. The Now series is the forerunner in the compilation stakes, and seems to issue a compilation every four weeks or so, but it seems more often to me. In the early days they were probably a good idea , but now there's so many that it is just product overkill. I'm sure that these sort of compilations are at least partially responsible for the demise ...
...a few weeks the latest Now album will have that single , plus thirty or forty others for the same price as three or four singles. As well as that it takes up a lot less room on your CD shelf. These artefacts are ideal presents for aunties and uncles to buy nephews and nieces , when they haven't go a clue what they're into. My record collection needed updating and as soon as I saw these albums I realised that they were the solution. Now 49 is the second Now album released this year. Now 49 is the latest now out, and i have to say that it is really good, but so are all the other nows really. It's a double album costing between £12.99 and £14.99. I paid £13.99 for my copy from the supermarket. You can buy it cheaper at supermarkets than from any music stores usually. The album has something for everyone on including: pop rock dance indie There are 41 songs on the album altogether, and i have to say that cd 1 is always better ...
