Advantages: the total creation Disadvantages: it couldn't have been londer
It was a hectic time, everyone was pushing past, whilst I held it in my hands. I ran home, just to listen to it. I got into my room, shut the door and took it out of its CD cover. I quickly put it into my sytem and silently and totally excited waited to hear it.
I sat for more than four hours listening to it FULLY. i was, and still am, in totaly awe and wonderment about this miraculous creation. Even though it has been around for four years, every ... ...feelings that i was that day i bought it.
I don't know which is better, 'the bends' or 'ok computer' but still i am in anticipation of 'amnesiac' and may i just say it will possibly be better than any of their albums from what i have already heard. As everyone else who is a radiohead fan, i'm sure they loved and still will the mastery that radiohead preserve. ...

Advantages: Excellent sonic landscapes Disadvantages: Lyrics are fairly senseless
I did not buy this record when it first came out in 1997, in fact it took me the best part of two years to buy it after a friend lent me a copy. This album is stunning in the main part for it's excellent production and use of effects. They weaved sounds together expertly and produced a real feast for the ears musically. Thom Yorke's voice is as good as ever and the rest of the band come across as very assured about their own ability with their respective ... ...it doesn't really mean anything, they've even admitted this themselves. I personally don't feel it is necessary to have an agenda for writing songs but if that is what you are looking for, you won't find it here. What I like most about this album is the way that the songs fit together, it is clear that they were all written at around the same time as they are clearly stylised. This is the best album Radiohead have ever made simply because of melodic ...

This is one of those albums that you either like or loathe. I think its a classic album containing some lyrical and musical moments of beauty, wheras others think its music to slash wrists to.
For me the standout tracks are let down, no surprises, karma police and paranoid android.
No surprises in particular is worth the price alone. It reminds me of "high and dry". All radiohead fans will already have this in there collection and most will have ...

...at their chilling best , ok computer delivers . From the opening it stands out as the best radiohead album of the lot . Im afraid im a cheapskate as icopyied this so i may not be name perfect but what i can tell you is everysong stands out , i couldnt find a song that didnt touch me in some way ...from the haunting and melancholy sounds of paranoid android to Karma police and all the other tracks . Tom Yorkes whining vocals are tailor made to this ... ...that are o.k computer. This album honestly took my breath away , and i can't say anything against it ,except perhaps a bonus cd would b nice - but thats just unreasonable.
If oyu get any radiohead album make it this ..its the perfect middle between the minimalistic sounds of kid a and the slightlier rockier 'the bends' ...

Advantages: Compelling. Disadvantages: Not all tracks are great.
Genius is very special, and not labelled on someone, or something, often. However, this is genius. Radiohead have stood tall among the tripe on the market, and made themselves into a legend.
The tracks are excellent, featuring Paranoid Andriod, which is amazing, and so is Exit Music for a Film, No Suprises, Karma Police, Airbag, and loads others. They are all amazing, and wonderful to listen too. They are rather depressing, but the quality of the ...

However, OK Computer was voted as number 1 best album in the music magazine Q. I stand to oppose to this as The Bends is truly the number 1 album of 'all time' - whatever that's supposed to imply.
Here's the track listing:
1. Airbag
2. Paranoid Android
3. Subterranean Homesick Alien
4. Exit Music (For A Film)
5. Let Down
6. Karma Police
7. Fitter Happier
8. Electioneering

Advantages: every track is amazing and Thom Yorke's voice offer emotion unheard for any other male singer ever. Disadvantages: very few except the last two tracks don't quite live up to the rest of the album, though for many people these are the best on the album!
This album at first listening seems to most people to be an hour of an extremelly depressed man whining but as you listen to it more and more (which you won't be able to stop yourself from doing) it starts to make sense and will move most people to points that they weren't aware music could do. There are highlights throughout the album but for me the peaks are the highly moving 'exit music' and 'karma police' which both have the power and emotion ...

Advantages: Good mix of rocky songs with slower songs Disadvantages: Nothing really
...and well. And it does. OK Computer is a powerhouse of a record, with huge pop/rock songs flanked by slower songs that pack the same ultimate punch as the fast ones. The band's songs are defined by lead singer Thom Yorke's insidious vocals and the equally spooky guitar work of Jonny Greenwood and Ed O'Brien. The songs are a unique blend of technology and old-fashioned musicianship, so that the addition of synthesizers and samples doesn't make the ...

Advantages: It's Radiohead Disadvantages: It's Alternative but that shouldn't stop you at all.
Okay, I wasn't really a fan of Radiohead, although I'm alternatively minded and generally despise Pop Music from the likes of Westlife, A1, Five and Spice Girls et al who seem to dominate the charts. Kid A has already been released and that is next on my next music buying spree.
Radiohead just has the innate ability to produce the most thought-provoking music around and gives me dreams to dream for in all eternity with stuff like fitter happier ... ...Surprises and my favourite, Paranoid Android.
Kid A probably outclasses it in terms of my taste by a factor of 2 when already at infinity which means just like the speed of light, it is invariant in quality to Kid A.

Advantages: Origional, innovative and easy to listen to Disadvantages: Some tracks can hurt your ears if played too loud!
Ok Computer was one of the first listening experiences I had with Radiohead and even though i'd never been to keen, this is now one of my favourites. The songs are beautifully written and actually have a point, unlike a lot of mainstream music nowadays. Thom Yorkes voice is sleek and compelling (Radiohead fans should also check out his solo album) and even though the album has a very 90's sound to it, the messages within the songs are still valid ... ...is Fitter/Happier, this is mainly because it is a computer talking over music, yet I find the idea very original and experimental and cannot fault the band for trying something different. With this eclectic mix of 'jump up n down' songs, peaceful rhythms and meaningful lyrics the album has something for everyone, and will not dissapoint. ...

Advantages: Absolute Classic, must have in your Collection Disadvantages: Can depress if down.
Yes, that is correct .. the Beatles, Oasis, Pulp, U2, Bob Marley all fell to Thom Yorkes Master Piece, who topped the lot of them on CH4's 100 Best Albums. This my friend is NO mistake. Pure Class, Originality, Some may say bonkers but i find the lyrics to be brilliant, Crazy. Extremely Well thought, Well produced, Written and Played. From Paranoid Android to Exit music to a Movie, to no suprises etc - It would have not mattered if any of the songs ... ...your collection, they all become familiar, catchy .. and what i like the best .. Bizarrly Brilliant.
Must MUST have .. if you've not heard this Album, Im Afraid - yu have not lived! Musical Excellence. I walk away after listening to this Album, Wanting to Get into Thoms head, just for a moment ..just even a second because whatever goes on up there is special! Pure Genius !
Pls Don't miss out!

OK Computer is quite simply the best album of all time in my opinion. And on so many levels - I don't know how many times I have listened to the album and still I find something more in it, its one of those CDs you not only always have in your collection, but you will always come back to again and again. Advantages: not as depressing as 'The Bends' Disadvantages: slightly depressing?
Radiohead have evolved from the 'The Bends', thankfully, as that album HAS to be the most depressing ever! Every track on this great work of art gets deep under your skin, from the modern day Bohemian Rhapsody of 'Paranoid Android' to the raucous opening of 'Airbag' this is a half-hour aural journey that you will never forget........... Although a few tracks are a little hard to listen to, you'll need to draw the curtains, turn down the light and ... ...Yorke is truly magnificent, he sings each song in a different style but still manages to capture the mood and feel of each in a way only he can. This is one of those albums that absolutely everyone I know owns, and there is little more I can say about this album before I get all sentimental and write drivel! No CD collection should be without it. ...
