...honest, I was very disappointed on first listen to the rest on the album. However, the album does grow on you, and I would certainly recommend it to people who also liked the single “Still” - since this is more in line with what is on the rest of the album. There are some very good tracks, such as “Sex-o-matic Venus Freak”, “The Letter” and “I Can’t Wait To Meetchu”. Overall, not to everyone’s taste, but a good album, if a little short. ...

...I heard Macy's "I try" on the radio I hated it. But it was played and played and played and sometimes I'd find myself singing it while I was doing the washing etc. It has an infectious sound - I couldn't get it out of my head. Within a couple of weeks I went from hating it to loving it.
A friend recommended the album, so I invested and I am really glad that I did. I'm sure most people have heard Macy Grays' voice by now - there is no denying her ...

...apart from hearing 'I Try' on the radio but I when I heard the first few seconds of 'Why didn't you call me' I knew this was something special.
