I first heard Bon Jovi around 18 years ago, when I was going to rock clubs, the first song I heard was "runaway" and I just loved it soo much!!, I bought their album eventually and then all the rest from there on. The problem I have with this album is the decision to use different recordings of various songs from a range of different concerts, and there is an annoying edit gap of a couple of seconds between each track. I have been a fan of Bon Jovi for some time now and have always found the concert or live performances to be of a high standard so you can imagine my excitement when I found out there was a live album out!!! Released on the 14th May 2001 it contains 15 tracks from 1998 to 2001 taken from their numerous world tours. ...Jovi in my opinion are one of the best live acts of all time. Being in wembley stadium with thousands of fans while 'livin of a prayer' is playing is an experience which cannot be matched. Though when you put that live experience on a CD it does not have the same desired affect. It would be better to buy the 'Crossroads' album as it is much superior to this. The only reason I can see someone buying this is if they have been to a live Bon Jovi concert ...

Heard about the album via the media, then whilst in the "every little helps" store saw it for £9.99. Sold to the fat bloke, points were a bonus! Played it a few times when I got indoors, it sounded good. Because I live in a flat, respectful of the neighbours I could't give it the full welly. Recorded it onto cassette, tried full volume on the car stereo. This is when it shines. Great mix of the best known Bon Jovi tracks and a few not commonly heard ...
...of Neil Young's "Rockin' In The Free World" put tingles down my back and a duet with Bob Geldorf with "I Don't Like Mondays" made a nice surprise. I wonder if Sir Bob washed his hair for the occasion, (greasy git), his nits would have found Nirvana in JBJ's barnet! All in all, a very, very good album. ...

Unfortunately, when i got home and played the album, I was sooo disappointed...the songs, as they are live, are different to the original versions...most noticeably 'shot through the heart' and 'it's my life'.
