...tracks as well. There was only one track at first that I wasn't too sure about and even then "Cold Dessert" has really grown on me over the past few weeks. It is an album packed full of incredibly strong and listenable tracks. If you're already a fan of Kings Of Leon then I would have thought you would own this by now. They had limited chart success with their first two albums, the best being the sing 'the bucket' which entered the top 20. Advantages: Strong lyrics. Good Singles. Not one what I would call weak track.

..."Be Somebody". If you have only heard the singles but liked them I would recommend you buy this album. As a big fan I would recommend you buy it anyway. I would be surprised if you were to be disappointed. This will go down as a classic album in years to come. ... Read review

...better, they did just that. Only By the Night has been dubbed as their "breakthrough album" and i'm hardly surprised. Althought they have changed from their first two Albums with songs such as Four Kicks being replaced with heavy stadium tunes such as Crawl and Closer. ...off to buy the album Only By The Night. Hearing the starting track 'Closer' for the first was quite an experience, it was fresh, it was different and it sounded new. The first time I listened to this album I was quite literally blown away. This is one great CD, legendary you could say. It includes the two famous tracks "Sex On Fire" and Use Somebody" however there are two tracks on there that caught my eye. They are called Cold Desert and Closer, these tracks are fairly less known by others than the one's above. However if, like myself, you are a chillout person then I highly reccomend listening to these tracks. ... Read review

If you're only going to buy one album this year, make it this one. Although "Only By The Night" is very different from past KOL albums, it is undoubtedly hugely successful. The uber-hit "Sex on Fire" gives an insight into the simple brilliance of this album; it's the song that encouraged me to buy the album, after all. The subtle mix of Caleb's gravelly voice with some distinctive rhythms and guitar make for brilliant- and addictive -listening. ... Read review
