I have recently purchased the Paint the Sky with Stars album by Enya which is subtitled as the best of Enya. I bought the CD at WHSMITH for a purchase price of £14.99 . I could have perhaps got it a little cheaper ,but as I was passing they got my money on this occasion ! Moving onto the album itself. Disadvantages: It can be difficult to appreciate for some sad, depressed people

I am sorry, but discovered Enya only a few time ago, listening a spot for her last CD, so... I remained really hit. I bought "Paint the sky with stars". Suggestive title, gravid of poetry and visual suggestions. Exactly as her songs - call them so, but it appears reductive - for the harmonies, the depicted compositions, words and music. Well, I know that typically a greatest hits can be a bit dodgy. That it's a bit of a money making exercise, but.... This one is really good. It's extremely relaxing, and includes all of the big songs by the lady. Yes, all the ones from all of the adverts! It is something that is right for a certain kind of mood, but less so than her other albums, as the more poppy songs are on here, more than the moody ones! Definitely worth buying, even for ... ...friends CD collection i noticed Paint The Sky With Stars so i put it on. How rejoiced i was to hear Orrinoco Flow as the 1st track played. The song made me feel so happy and i remembered my childhood once more. Then as the songs progressed the song storms in africa came on which was played at my grandads funeral and that brought back many more fond memories. Many people who i speak to consider enya to be a sad artist and find her songs depressing ... Read review

dismiss her as new age lift music if you like. see if i care. i first got into enya after seeing her play orinocco flow on top of the pops. she sat behind a big piano. did you know orrincco flow wasn't about a wombles menstrual problems? if not don't worry, sometimes she sings in Gaelic, and that means i don't understand what she is going on about either, but music is universal, and hers is one of the most beautiful types of music in the world. this ...
