Advantages: 15/18 tracks are amazing. Disadvantages: A Couple of Poor Freestyling Tracks
Having never heard of Gym Class Heroes until i saw them support Fall Out Boy in 2005, i was plesently surprised. Far from the 'emo rock' genre i would associated with Fall Out Boy, Gym Class Heroes offer a totally different type of music. I soon realised why they were picked up to support.
Offering a much more hip-hop type genre, with clever rock/emo lyrics, Travis McCoy has got to be one of my favourite artists of current times. With some very ... ...'Taxi Driver' and 'Make Out Club'. All of which offer a witty, upbeat perspective of the hip-hop genre.
There are also many much deeper songs. Some awesome slower songs and some great lyrics make some of my current fasvourite songs, 'Papercuts', 'Everyday's Forcast' and 'Faces in the Hall'
This is the sort of album you can sit down and chillax to, and if you ever get the chance i would recommened buying their second album, 'As Cruel and School ...
