The first effort from Jurassic 5, their self-entitled EP-cum-LP went down a storm in the music industry, and it's been a while now since the release of that album. Everyone knew such an awesome and unique set of sounds would be extremely hard to follow up. But J5 have done it with flying colours. I wasn't expecting a great album after a few dodgy reviews in the music press (6/10 7/10 sort of marks), but I have been extremely impressed by it. Stand ... ...waiting for my copy in the post, and just borrowing the CD with no inlay from a mate, sorry!) which is beautifully bouncy, a real feel-good one. I also love the last track, a non-lyrical celebration of swing music with hip-hop crossovers. Jurassic 5 have definitely lost none of their awesome talent, and the voices of Ozomatli and Charli 2na are as sharp as ever. This album will appeal to you if you liked the first (obviously) but if you haven't heard ...

Advantages: Funky, fresh, great party music Disadvantages: Some weak links, very similar to first album.
...album the Quality Control is a must have, despite a few exceptions the originality and funkyness shines through and it is a cut above many of todays hip hop releases. Quality Control may lack control, but the quality makes it a top albumn, go buy it, you won't be disapointed. ...

Advantages: Probably the best album, along with the brand new "power in numbers" Disadvantages: There are no real disadvantages to this album all the music is light hearted and easy listening
The album quality control really is a top notch album, with tracks like concrete schoolyard, jurass finish first and quality control itself, if you've ever been to see jurassic 5 then they are just the same live as they are on the CD. The rapping in it is just a bit different to most hip-hop that is coming out these days, instead of it being quite dark and political, jurassic 5 just seem to have this buzz about them they sound good, and the relationship ...
