...it's easily recognisable as a radio 1 compilation. Tracks include live lounge classics such as Coldplay - Yellow, The Zutons - Valerie, Kasabian - Empire, and also unique covers like Natasha Bedingfield - Chasing Cars (Snow Patrol), Avril lavigne - The scientist (Coldplay) and The Enemy - Hung up (Madonna) My personal favourite is Keane - Dirrtylicious, a wicked rendition mix of Christina Aguilera / Destiny's Child. I prefered volume one to be honest, I like it when the artists cover other peoples songs and there just isnt enough of that on this album (plus how many artists covered the scientist by coldplay - it seems to feature twice on every album!) Pualo Nutinni's "rehab" is pretty good tho. I frequently listen to the live lounge on the radio and have heard some amazing covers why they aren't on the album is beyond me - just have to wait for volume 3 inevitable release! Good but not great

...personal choice. I'm really glad that Radio 1 have decided to release their live lounge sessions, it's taken a while for them to realise that this is a great money spinner. Can't wait for the next one to come out. I'd say this is a must buy if the price is right! ... Read review

...much better than the first Radio one live lounge album. All tracks have been previously played on the radio one live lounge with Joe Willie, but I never get a chance to listen to them all first time they are on the radio, so its nice to hear them all. Some tracks really funny and are all by well-known artist's. The artists and bands either record alternative recordings of there own songs or ones by other artists, which is really interesting. I ... ...every track infact. so with Radio ones live lounge being one of my faviroute albums i was excited to hear that live lounge two was out aswell.I cant stop listening to it. every track on there is so original, if its not a song performed by a different artist its the artists song but done with an acoustic guitar making it simple but in some cases better than the original ? complicated ? i personally prefer the first live lounge album but this is still full of great covers and live songs. well worth buying! one of the highlights of this double album for me is biffy clyro version of rihanna very succesful song umbrella!
