Reservoir Dogs - Original Soundtrack

I’m a big fan of the film, so when I saw the Soundtrack on offer, I decided to buy it. When the film was released in 1992 it caused a storm with its extreme violence. The soundtrack on the other hand doesn't seem to mirror any of that. The cover shows the film cast with blood splashed in the background, yet the CD is made up of uplifting 70's songs.
