After Eric's death, a replacement was found in Eric Singer (ex Gary Moore, of other things). This album was one of the heaviest that Kiss have created ever.
The opening track 'Unholy' is very reminiscent of War Machine in places. They even had time ot write a song for the second Billand Ted film, which even though it was a cover was quite catchy.
This album also was the last official album Kiss made without the make up - Unplugged and Carnival ...
KISS REvenge was originally going to be called Destroyer II
