Revolver - Beatles (The)

It's hard to believe that this record was made 35 years ago, and frankly, has yet to be bettered in terms of songs and innovation. Alot of people regard Sgt. Pepper as The Beatles masterpiece, don't get me wrong, Pepper is cool but not a patch on Revolver Both Lennon and McCartney's writing is at it's peak here and Harrison emerges as a force to be reckoned with with the opener Taxman. The journey through this album is a magnificent one, ...
...For No One, Good Day Sunshine... The list goes on! Perhaps for me, the crowning achievement on the album is the final track Tomorrow Never Knows. A psychedelic whirlwind of backwards tape loops and guitars! Often copied but never bettered! (Chemical Brothers! Nice try boys.. but not quite!) In conclusion this is a must own record for every self respecting human (or otherwise) on this planet! ...

...my primary question is what Revolver are we talking about? The American release from 1966 never contained the songs I'm only Sleeping, And your Bird can Sing, Dr. Robert, others. They are from the original American album "Yesterday and Today." So why are all these reviewers acting as though they are brilliantly part of the whole Revolver concept? Two possibilities: 1) They were part of a British Revolver album (which I doubt), or 2) They are now ...
...I don't want to criticize Revolver so much as to say there are at least 5 or 6 other Beatle albums as good or better. Including, Abbey Road, Yesterday and Today, Rubber Soul, Meet the Beatles, The Beatles Second Album, Let it Be, and The White Album. Of course I'm being a bit subjective myself, but how can you not be when you start splitting hairs amongst which Beatle album has the best songs. the beatles are my ultimate favourite, this ones not but its a good classic trippy hippy style with all the original tracks like yellow submarine and strawberry feilds and sgt pepper. Its all there jus dont go spending days looking for strawberry fields after listening to the song my friend did and we aint seen him since. its also inspireing for anyone who want to start wrighting there own songs or are just want to learn a few cords on the guitar ...

...I feel that Revolver is another example of the highly enjoyable music offered by the Beatles, however the differences between songs written by john or paul is more obvious than usual. It seems as though there is a constant back-and-forth of the two. Coming from such an influential band, these things would be valuable to hear for anyone who appreciates music. To listen to this album firstly provides a greater knowledge of that which the Beatles wished ...
