"Rid of me" was PJ Harvey's second album, and like the first, it's a pretty demanding listen. I hardly ever play "Rid Of Me" all the way through, usually picking out a few songs. It's not that I don't like any of them, it's just that the entire album can be too much of an onslaught, emotionally as well as in terms of the noise.
