Advantages: One of the best albums ever Disadvantages: None
...my favourite one ……
To me Rio is the best ever Duran Duran album, every song on this is a masterpiece and sounds as fresh as it did when it was made and released in 1982.
The song "Rio" became a number one hit straight away after it's release and it proved that even though the band had only been going for a year they were well established and had thousands of fans.
"Rio" really did have it all and the band brought out their best album ever in ...

Advantages: Takes you back to your youth - if you're 30 something! Disadvantages: Only 9 tracks
I am in the process of buying all my favourite vinyl albums in cd format. Being 34, this consequently means that most of my favourites are from the 80s.

Some of my personal favourites off the album are Lonley in your nightmear, Hold back the rain, the chauffeur. This is defently a must have album for anyone new discovering the joys of Duran Duran. IN 2001 they remastered the cd and it now has videos to watch on the disc. This album defently sounds a lot different in style to the ...

Advantages: Some good tracks Disadvantages: Fatty Le Bon
...Save A Prayer (2) and Rio (9). That last one was also the title of their second album, which itself made number 2 in the UK. It was a far more confident affair than their first set.
But hit singles do not a critical triumph make and they continued to ship a lot of artistic criticism - vacuous was probably the word used most often. ...
