...The history of Aerosmith places Rocks at a pivatol point. As previously mentioned the band were at their early peak. After this album the drugs would take over. A less than great ablum and live record would follow before lead guitartist Joe Perry called it a day, Brad Whitford soon followed, and the band struggled on with replacements and drug overdoses.
