McFly are great friends with Busted, the one member Tom even auditioned to be in Busted but only got into the final two and Charlie was picked instead of him, but now we're all glad because if he would have got in then we wouldn't have come about McFly! I know a variety of age groups would enjoy it, I even know some people who usually hate this sort of music that LOVE this album or at least one or two of the songs on there! Something that amazed me is their writing talents, they are still very young and you'd think they'd have a lot to learn about song writing, but their songs are very to the point ...

A few years ago it was girl bands, then boy bands and now the pop industry has decided that foppish pseudo indie aimed at thirteen year old girls is the way to go. McFly play their own instruments, write or co-write their own songs and have longish hair. However, don't be under the illusion that they are even vaguely credible,or more importantly any good.
