Advantages: great debut album... Disadvantages: ...except one track
...to write this opinion!
See This Through and Leave was released in February 2002, and, since then, nothing. However, they did play new material at the gig on Wednesday, so I'm guessing there should be another album out soon...fingers crossed!
The album features 11 tracks, and retails at £8.99 at Amazon - amazing value for 11 tracks, especially so because there is a bonus CD included - featuring bonus tracks and also videos.
The track listing on ... ..."Don't think coz you can't see me that I'm not watching..."
The first top-40 single released by TCTC, this song is loud and fast from the start. It's upbeat, both the tune and the lyrics are catchy, and it's great to sing along to.
PANZER ATTACK
"I'll spend the night here, cowered in the trash till 2am..."
In my opinion, one of the songs that TCTC perform best when live, Panzer Attack is another loud angry rock song. I say rock: when the song ...

...from here on) debut album See Through This And Leave.
The six piece from Berkshire have made huge inroads on the musical world with an alternative edgy sound. ok so this is who they are and what they do:
Tom Bellamy: Guitar, Synths, Keys, Samples, Vox, Percussion, Melodica, Trumpet
Daniel Fisher: Guitar, Lyrics, Vox, Bass
Benedict Gautrey: Vox, Guitar
Jon Harper: Drums, Percussion
Didz Hammond: Bass, Samples, Vox, Synths
Kieran Mayhem: Keyboards

***************
This is a rather odd song as there aren’t actually any lyrics and it uses the shipping broadcast sample over the top of various other bits of music and samples including big ben and the news. It doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the album, which is probably why I’m not too keen and it’s probably my least favourite song ...

Advantages: Storming debut album from Reading's finest Disadvantages: None
I couldn't agree more with the "This is a fantastic album!" comment on the review page.
This is still one of the best albums I own, by one of the best and most under-rated bands of recent times (now defunct). All three albums that were released by the Coopers were amazing, this is probably the best of the three. My personal favourites being "Been Training Dogs", "Let's Kill Music", "Panzer Attack" and "Film-Maker".
This album is like being hit ... ...a sound.
The only slightly disappointing track is "555-4823", which is experimental to say the least.
On the other hand, this album shows how diverse the Coopers could be. You have the all out huge sound of the likes of "Let's Kill Music" and "Panzer Attack", and then the beautiful album closing "Murder Song" with it's soft sound and floaty vocal delivery.
If you never had the pleasure of seeing this album played live, you missed out. ...
