Advantages: An original sounding double disc
Disadvantages: Some of the songs are a little dated

...generally works really well! Disc 1 1. Sign O’ The Times The album opens with the title track. Despite its lack of actual ‘music’, this is quite a catchy song. Written more as a social comment, it features mainly percussion with minimal bass and guitar, with the focus very much on the lyrics. Disadvantages: The price of the album varies so shop around!

...'Parade' (the previous album to Sign O' The Times) but wasn't struck by a lot of the album tracks. However, every Prince album is different from the last so you have to take each one as it comes. I stumbled across Sign O' The Times at a bootsale marked up for £8 and it was still shrinkwrapped. This was an absolute bargain as I've seen it priced up for as much as £19.99 in stores.
