This is the latest release from a 3 piece band, which over the years (since 1994 with the release of 'Pokinatcha'), have become a quite a lot more popular. ...They sing about life and love, which is often only good if you can relate to it. When I first heard it, I thought it sounded a bit like the Steriophonics , thank God though, it soon changed. The one thing that I don't like about this CD is the fact that most of the songs sound a lot alike. MXPX's raw sound, reactionist lyrics and pumping guitar riffs make this a truely brilliant album! Song's like 'I'm OK and You're OK' not only has brilliant lyrics "What exactly do you talk about when i'm away, you're here to stay and i'm ok' but the bass line and riffs really takes the song to the next level. Many of the songs like 'Get with it' are truely thought provokeing which is rare for a modern punk band, this band truely stand out above ...
