    Advantages Advantages Modern but still in keeping with their usual style.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages You won't stop listening to it!

    Although this album wasn't given the greatest views by some magazines, I and many of my other friends think it is one of the best albums Def Leppard have created. It has a modern sound but still includes their extremely unique, signature sound. This means that not only do the band appeal to their usual fans from their prime era, but also every other age imaginable as they keep us guessing with each new track. 1). Go - This is a great way to start the album with the new modern sound from the band that blows us away. Although not one of my favourite, it definately sets a good tone for the album ... more

    Advantages Advantages Songs are really catchy, most rocking album since a long time

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Comparing to their other releases, the production is awful.

    ,Songs From The Sparkle Lounge is Def Leppard's first album containing new songs since 2002's X (2005's YEAH! was a covers album). X was more of a Pop/Rock record, and people were requesting (fans and media as well) a more Rock oriented album. Sparkle Lounge delivers the goods, but still is an uneven album, mainly because they were trying to get rid of their famous big production, and recorded the album with very few overdubs and takes.
