Advantages: One good track Disadvantages: 11 rubish ones
I only bought this album for one song UB40s 'Tell me is it true' (and don't you know they went and put it on their greatest hits album a year later) any way I heard this song in the film and fell in love with it straight away, but couldn't find the single any where. This meant that buying this album was the only way of getting hold of it at the time, and as I buy quite a lot of movie sound tracks I didn't really mind. Well I wouldn't have minded ... ...and one of the worst compilations I've ever heard. It's shocking that this album is so bad because it had such great potential. With artists such as Maxi Priest and Jimmy Cliff you'd expect some classic tracks instead you get 11 watered down pop-chart reggae tracks of the standard that you'd normally expect to find on 'The best stereotypically Caribbean-reggae-type songs ever!' album, the kind of music I absolutely hate (yeah ok I know that's what ...
