I personally loved the CD there was not one track on the CD that I did not like. The songs are a kind of Celine Dione meets Kylie. The songs are both modern yet have that harmony to it. This album is surprising. It's consistently strong even though it dwindles towards the end due to the slower songs. It will appeal to American listeners alot as there's alot of modern rnb beats going on here and there. Whatever it Takes and Take a bow are strong contenders for singles. You won't be disappointed at all.

Advantages: It is an album that the more you listen to, the more you like it.
Disadvantages: A few more faster, up-beat tracks would have been good.

Wowser!!! I'm so pleased that they took this girl's career seriously and gave her some top quality material to sing, unlike the long line of other reality show stars. The time it took for her to release her first album was definitely worth the wait. 'Take a bow' is filled with attitude, 'First time ever I saw your face' makes the hairs on your arms stand up as does 'Footprints in the sand'. Spirit is a very good first album from X factor winner Leona Lewis. You can hear that she has been in the studio for a long time with obviously some of the best producers in the business. I bought this album for my 13 yr old god daughter. She has been excited about the album coming out since X-factor last year! Was meant to be a Christmas present but I'm too soft! I knew Leona Lewis brought out a single and her voice was superb, but was a little dubious of how the album would sound.... (repetetive/boring etc) but I had no reaason to worry.
