Advantages: Good comeback! Certain tracks have brillaint lyrics and vocals. Disadvantages: 2 songs sound the same, and more of blues
...been a long wait for Stiff Upper Lip and I was all worked up to go get the CD myself. Cant say it was a total bummer, but hey, its not like the old stuff anymore. But the band's not getting any younger, so the effort is totally appreciated.
Laying out the pros, i'd say firstly, the Young brothers atleast bothered writing RIFFS this time around, rather than just playing four chords in varying orders like on the last record. The guitar playing on ...

...great songs such as "01. Stiff Upper Lip" "06. Can't Stand Still" "11. All Screwed Up". Three great songs aswell as another 3 better than good songs. This is a good album and one that I enjoy time and time again. and Brian Johnson has fitted in perfectly with his Screeching the lyrics out on House of Jazz, Can't Stop Rock and Roll and all the others. This is a Remastered edition so it has a great inlay with lots of cool and rare pictures. ...
