Advantages: Experimental, good mix of rock and electronica Disadvantages: Too much screaming!!!
This is Idiot Pilots first album, recorded by Michael Harris (vocals, guitar and bass) and Daniel Anderson, (vocals, guitar, keyboards and programming) a duo from Washington, US. And giving the fact that they were only 18 when they recorded 'Strange We Should Meet Here', it's a pretty damn good first time album for as young as they were.
Placing the genre of Idiot Pilot, they seem to draw a line between Electronic and Alternative Rock, you found ... ...to be greeted with the next track with screaming vocals, heavy bass beats and thrashing guitar riffs.
A Day in a Life of a Pool Shark is the first single I heard and watched on MTV 2, two guys beating the shit out of each other, how else to promote your album. Starts off with a cool electronic keyboard loop, and then bursts back and forth with thrashing guitar and screaming vocals.

Advantages: Amazing range of songs, boasts originality. Disadvantages: Can become droning if played entirely.
