Advantages: A lot of oringal sounding hip-hop music. Disadvantages: Timbaland's 'grunts' become a little irritating after a while.
...the first listening. I bought Supa Dupa Fly about two years ago and I am still listening to it constantly. Having gone platinum in America, it features big hip-hop artists such as Busta Rhymes, Lil' Kim, Da Brat, Aaliah, Ginuwine, 702 and of course her partner in crime Timbaland. Although I like his music in general, I was not overly impressed by Busta Rhymes' contributions to the intro or the outro (having said this, I find these a little pointless ... ...Youth chorus of 'Pass The Dutchie' and successfully updates it - this is one of the highpoints of the album. Funny that, I've read a lot about Missy being a sexually-upfront feminist icon, but "can we get kinky tonight" sounds a little on the polite, even perhaps a little submissive, side. Maybe that's just my take on it. So, overall, The Rain (Super Dupa Fly) is not my kind ...
