Advantages: Great for rocking out to Disadvantages: SOme songs lack Feeder's later cutting edge poppiness
Swim (Re-Surfaced) is Feeder's first mini-album re-released with extra songs added to the end. One has to wonder if the main reason for this release was to cash in on Feeder's success, but it is a worthy addition for fans of the band, although maybe less accessable for the general public. The album is quite different to Feeder's later work, with many of the songs being within the metal genre rather than Feeder's distinct pop rock sound. Sweet 16, ... ...highlights. Stereoworld and Swim are also strong songs, but there is some obvious weaker tracks, such as W.I.T. (Women in thongs) or the dull song Elegy. However, most of the songs play reasonably well, and if you are a fan of the metal genre it would be a worthy purchase. ...
