Advantages: Fantastic vocals really bring this album to life, the music enhances it. Disadvantages: It is too short, another couple of hours would be nice.
I saw a video of a Faith Hill song on CMTV, I enjoyed it, so I brought the album, 'Take Me As I Am'. Anybody who likes the newer style country music will love this album. Faith Hill has a beautiful voice, and this album has the perfect selection of songs to emphasize that. The styles are varied from the rock of 'Life's Too Short To Love Like That', to some beautiful ballads including,'Just about now' and 'But I will'. The lyrics are clear and easy ... ...feel the emotion behind them.
The song I love the most from this album is, 'I've Got This Friend', a duet with Larry Stewart. It is a ballad about two people who are trying to find the perfect partner for a friend, in doing so they find they are perfect for eachother. I know it's soppy and romantic, but what would the world be like without romance? This is one of the few albums I have, that I can happily listen to over and over again. There are ...
