Enter Shikari have enjoyed a great deal of success this year and they have no one to thank for that other than themselves. I truly respect the band for the way they have achieved everything off of their own backs, and really made a success of themselves without the need for major label backing. This is going to be an unpopular review, but I'd like to voice my opinion on why I think this is an extremely overrated album. However, I'm not entirely full of rage when it comes to this album. Once I saw it begun selling extremely well at the music store I work for, I decided to buy a copy, spend an evening listening to it, and try to keep a clear mind throughout. This album is entirely one dimensional and once you've heard one track, you've heard ...
...vocals, even worse than that is the cheap sounding synthesizer beats which are usually out of place and extremely obnoxious. There aren't actually 17 tracks on the album, well not 'songs' per se. Quite a few of them are simply 'fillers' which introduce the next song, although this isn't the case for users of iTunes, as they are combined into the songs themselves. No doubt the pinnacle of Enter Shikari's perviously increasing carreer. I really enjoyed the increased use of trance/synth backing along with completely new tracks put alongside old time favourites. I Was also a big fan of the whole "interlude" track idea, where some of the more main songs would be introduced with a shortened instrumental track to build up the effect. However i do feel that this previously up-and-coming group has fallen victim ...

An extreemly good band live, which is what i think helped them finally get to the well deserved position they are at now but i cant help but notice the feelings of "selling out" from some of their more "hardcore" fans that are around. I absolutely love this album. No matter how many times you listen to it there is always something extra you pick up on. It has to be said, however, that the songs on this album have been enhanced somewhat from what they were originally a couple of years ago. Personally i like the new synth effect they have used in their songs but I can imagine that this may not be everyone's cup of tea. The songs have lost some of their "rough-and-ready" quality ...
...and structured. There are 17 tracks on the album but 6 of these are instrumental. I think this adds an excellent link between the fast moving songs and gives you time to soak up the lyrics. I really would recommend this album to anyone who enjoys hardcore music such as Alexisonfire or alternative such as smashing pumpkins, rise against etc. or even electro/trance music. ...

Amazing both live and on cd. with songs such as sorry your not and anything can happen in the next half hour enter shikari are going to make it bigger than a lot of bands in 2007. Ive seen them live and they blew me away. definately one of the best bands ive seen live. they sound the same live as they sound on the cd. they are a band that played a lot in High Wycombe near where i live before they made it big so i saw them before they became famous ...
...a very different sounds to alot of the more main stream bands. with a mix of screaming (which is over done slightly in some songs) and techno sounds it makes a really interesting sound. sort of like techno rock. im looking forward to their next album, and il be buying tickets to see their next tour. ...

Enter Shikari - Well, where do I start? Well the band formed in 2003 and are from St. Albans city. In my opinion, this band is amazing, how they mix trance with metal / rock is amazing, and the weird thing is, they actually make it go together really well. Their music is a mixture of music, some songs start off with the trance / dance kind of music, then the heavy guitar and bass come in with varying lyrics between shouting and singing. ...Rou made when he was a writing a play. The character was used as a metaphor for positive aggresion. This was used way before the band existed. Another amazing thing about this band is that they have made it all this way without much help from anyone else. They have turned big record labels down, and made their own label.
