This album is a must get. Not one bad song on there must be hiphop album of the year! Singles included are Lollipop, A Milli, Got Money and Mrs. Officer. Other great songs such as Mr. Carter and Shoot Me Down are also worth a good listen.

One of lil wayne's best albums ever and he truely is the best rapper alive. On this album he has some of the best younger and older rappers in the game with him and they produce chart topping hits. In my opinion and the rest of the world, the best rap album in years deff the best of 2008. Lil Wayne winner of 3 grammy awards in the 2009 award show. This album also won the best album on the grammy's and lolipop also won a grammy for best song of the year and the last grammy was for lil wayne has the best rap artist. ...opinion. In everyone's overall view, Tha Carter III fails to live up to the hype surrounded by Wayne many believe it lacked the normal concept of a memorable album such as Nas' Illmatic. Positives that can be drawn from this are that it is certainly a mainstream album with tracks such as "Lollipop" & "Got Money" featuring Mr Vocoder himself T.Pain.
