One of lil wayne's best albums ever and he truely is the best rapper alive. On this album he has some of the best younger and older rappers in the game with him and they produce chart topping hits. Most of the beats are extremely hot and on one of the songs he even takes on the perspective of a martian, which may seem wierd at first but when you listen to the words you will understand that he spits fire. ...opinion. In everyone's overall view, Tha Carter III fails to live up to the hype surrounded by Wayne many believe it lacked the normal concept of a memorable album such as Nas' Illmatic. Positives that can be drawn from this are that it is certainly a mainstream album with tracks such as "Lollipop" & "Got Money" featuring Mr Vocoder himself T.Pain.
