The Subways - Young For Eternity

My quest in the listening and discovering new bands to preach about leads me to The Subways! This three-piece outfit is one of the latest in the world of modern rock music, and this, their debut, is a cracker. The Subways were formed in 2000 (I believe). ...as powerful as ever and the lyrics he supplies to our ears are brilliant. This is probably one of the heaviest songs on the album. Josh's energetic drumming is ever present while Charlotte offers her unique voice as backing vocals. It is this unusual bond and togetherness of the group that makes the album stand out – You can feel the togetherness and energy in the songs. Review of The Subways - Young For Eternity

The Subways are Billy Lunn, Charlotte Cooper and Josh Morgan. Whereas they may not the same amount of recognition and airplay as overnight success story Arctic Monkey's, The Subways produced the best debut album of 2005. This was recognised by Virgin Music in January 2006 when 'Young for Eternity' was voted 'Best Album of 2005', beating off strong competition from big names such as Madonna, Will Young and Mcfly.
