After discovering that My Chemical Romance weren't The Used as I first thought them to be when I didn't see who the artist was in the video for "I'm Not Okay [I Promise]" first came to my attention, I decided to pursue them. Well here we are with My Chemical Romance, the quintet from New Jersey's second album, and what a gem it is. Taking a slightly different direction from their first album, a bit more away from raw vocals and sounding a bit polished, though this is no bad thing. My Chemical Romance's best album out of the three. The tracks have enthusiasm, extended metaphorical meanings, and are just great to sing [or should I say SCREAM!] along to.

Advantages: It's got great lyrics and is musically written
Disadvantages: Sometimes there is a bit too much shouting

...such a stupid decision. As Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge turned up on my doorstep, I rushed to my CD Player, threw the CD in, and hit the play button. This is one of (if not THE) most disappointing purchases I ever bought. From start to finish, Gerald whines, whines, and whines some more. Advantages: Amazing, catchy tunes
Disadvantages: A bit screamy in places

This album is filled with exciting pop/rock/emo songs, fuelled by the pure talent of Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero, Ray Toro and Bob Bryar. These 5 men have done what no men have done before - created songs so amazing that they've saved people from suicide. Advantages: An exceptionally unique band, lyrical abilities are amazing. Good for when your feeling low or needing songs with some intelligence.
Disadvantages: Not many really. It's not an album for everybody, expecially if your into classical music. The majority of people will either love it or hate it

I bought this album in early February, this was before they became ultra popular. If you have seen the video Helena you should know how amazing the band are, the song goes amazingly with the video, demonstrating their amazing creative skills.
