Advantages: frsh, catchy tunes! Disadvantages: a couple of bad uns!!
...I can’t keep up! The three girls sing, in parts, in perfect unison. The different tones of their voices adds a, dare I say it, complexity to the song. It could have sounded very flat and boring but the Sugababes style gives it, well style!
CAUGHT IN A MOMENT
A slow start with a gentle drum beat and guitar accompaniment. A smooth ballad with some beautiful words. The chorus is quite moving. The three girls take turns to sing in this track for ...

...of theirs. Recently, I borrowed Three from a friend and Angels With Dirty Faces from the library. Enjoying both, I bought them from Ebay, paying about £5 for the older album (2002) and around £7 for Three, unsurprisingly their third album. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a review, as it’s been a while since I did a CD.
The album starts with the catchy hit single HOLE IN THE HEAD, which was a number one single last year. This is one of ...

Advantages: Blends of dance, pop, r n b & indie, something for everyone! Disadvantages: Some songs are fairly poor!
Sugababes are possibly one of the most appealing, popular and stable groups around at the moment – they’re all still together, albeit the departure of one of the singers back in 2002 (can anyone even remember her?) and the replacement of Liverpudlian Heidi. More commonly speaking, they’re a pleasant antidote to the blonde haired, big breasted female pop groups of today – not wanting to criticise anyone but the likes of Girls Aloud hardly produce original ...

...and eye catching with all three girls on the cover in what looks like a collage of photographs arranged together on a white background, suggesting a new, edgier sound to the newest incarnation. On the back, again on a white background are the titles of the songs in bold typeface in the same style as the front cover. Inside this collage theme is continued with more photos of the girls' interspacing the lyrics of all the songs. Overall it’s a clean, ...

Advantages: Great songs, Excellently sang, Mix of the style of songs and very catchy. Disadvantages: Can seem repetitive, Very poppy, Limited in some forms of the styles of genre and can seem quite forgettable to some.
...and ''Three'' went to number three in the albums chart. But surely, chart success does not determine the quality, and greatness of neither an album or a single, but luckily for this album it is of no difference as this album proves to be classic, distinctive (as expected), containing soul, jazzy and rocky pop songs, a few beautiful ballads and some songs that you just can't help but swing to. ''Three'', excellently titled is a credit to the Sugababes, ...

Advantages: Great music, nice mixes Disadvantages: pop's not everyone's thang!
I haven't always liked the Sugababes for the main reason that ‘Round Round’ wasn't the type of song that appeals to me! But ‘Hole in the Head’, ‘Too Lost in You’ and ‘In the Middle’ are all gripping great songs,
This is a chill-out/clubbing CD. You listen to it and relax or you ‘bop to the beat as you sing/hum along!
This is a seriously good CD and I will, with the fervour and enthusiasm of the recently converted, describe for you the wonders of ...

Advantages: Good songs Disadvantages: A few weak links
I quite like the Sugababes, I mean they aren't my favourite pop band, but I think they have released some decent songs. I have always decided to buy the singles such as “Round Round” rather then buying an album, but I decided to change, and thought I would purchase their latest album “Three” when I was on a recent shopping trip to Asda for £9.77 (You can’t beat Asda prices). I chose this album purely because of "Hole ...

Advantages: Classic Sugababes tunes - if you like their music buy this Disadvantages: not their best album, some songs not fantastic
I have always loved the sugababes ever since i listened constantly to thier first album One touch which held classics like, overload and lovely down tempo tracks like soul sound.
I think that they were at their best when they first come out and although i do love all of thier music a lot of their hits are overplayed to the extent where they are spoiled.
1. Hole in the Head - 9/10
Fantastic dance track and sold the album to me. When this was ...

Advantages: good songs and lyrics, something for everyone Disadvantages: There are some weak links
I really like Sugababes as i think they are not like any other typical 'Girl band'
They dress how they feel comfortable ( jeans and t shirt) and look their real selves.
Their music is a mixture of pop but with touches of urban and r and b so there is something for everyone.
I think that they really express how they feel in their songs.
I brought their album quite a while ago but never really sat down and listened to it in depth.
The main songs ...

Advantages: Great tracks, meaningful lyrics Disadvantages: None
I got this album, because of a few tracks -the best sellers. I listened to the first song and i couldnt stop listening. i thought i would only listen to the chart hits, but as i got to know the other songs they stuck in my head. There was only one track to not reach my favourites list.
The contrast of the different songs is amazing. The dancing, bubbly, happy songs are all in each way different, like Hole in the Head - a get back song for cheating ...

Advantages: Cool, Modern and easy listening Disadvantages: Not enough tracks more needed
When the Sugababes came out I didn’t really rate them and then they had a break for a while and when they came back the White girl had put on a bit of weight, coloured her hair and put on a Liverpool actcent (Only Kidding). Now they are producing a lot better songs and the new album (three - Sugababes) sounds really good and I think this is down to new management and new song writers for the girls.
It's paying off, they are doing song tracks ...

...Sugababes album before. I bought Three because I liked "Hole in the Head" and "Too Lost in you" ( taken from the film Love Actually). I bought this cd from Tesco as they sell chart cd's for £9.98 which is a great price and as soon as I bought it,I listened to it through headphones as you can hear the cd with no distractions.
When I first listened to the album I wasnt sure if I liked it. I perservered with it and now,it's the one of my albums I play ...

...to "Hole in the Head" three times today.
There are two tracks that I'm not 100% keen on but I still like them, don't get the wrong idea. These are "Nasty Ghetto" and "Maya". They take a bit of getting used to but are still perfectly good tracks.
Cover and inlay also great. Complete (and correct) lyrics with nice colour photos.
Their best album yet. ...

Advantages: a great follow up album! Disadvantages: hardly any! a few poor tracks, but overall a great album!
Hardly had this album out of my hi-fi since i bought it. If u enjoyed the last sugababes album you'll love this one!
Soundwise, "Three" carries along in the same direction as the previous album. The same witty lyrics and funky beats etc. The album has a great start with their number one hit "hole in the head" which is followed up by some equally catchy more uptempo tracks. There are a few ballads on the album - "caught in a moment" and "too lost ...

Advantages: cool, laid back Disadvantages: not all of the tracks are that good
This album is a lot more grown up than the previous album that I bought, angels with dirty faces. The sugababes seem to be going from strength to strength. This album includes two of the singles that the sugababes have released, Hole in the head, and: Too lost in you. I loved both of these songs which provoked me to buy the album, but the overall sound of the album is quite different from either of these songs, with a mixture of styles and techniques ...
